"The Dining Room" presented by RBHS Advanced Acting Dec. 4,5,6 @ 7pm

The Dining Room
Dec. 4,5,6  7:00 pm
Ticket Prices: $6. adults; $4. Students with ID, Free with RB Activity Pass

This production presented by the Advanced Acting Class is set in the dining room of a typical well-to-do household, the place where the family assembled daily for breakfast and dinner and for any and all special occasions. The action is a mosaic of interrelated scenes that are funny, touching and rueful and when put together, create an in-depth portrait of a vanishing species: the upper-middle-class WASP.  The actors change roles, personalities, and ages with great skill as they portray a wide variety of characters, from little boys to stern grandfathers and from giggling teenage girls to Irish housemaids. A story is woven through the varied scenes into a theatrical experience of exceptional range, compassionate humor and abundant humanity. Come and be entertained by our amazingly talented Rock Bridge Students!

Vocal Music News!

This past weekend we had 28 of our vocal music students participate in the District Honor Choir Festival in Moberly.
Both concerts were excellent and RBHS students were true professionals all day long!  For the Juniors and Seniors, they also participated in a second round of auditions to determine which 16 students from our District would be selected to the Missouri All-State Choir.  I’m pleased and proud to announce that we had 4 students selected!  They are:
Sydney Hemwall (Jr Soprano), Madi Mertz (Sr Soprano), Madeline Inslee (Sr Alto) and Emily Mertens (Sr Alto)!
Congratulations to these 4 young ladies and all of our students for representing Rock Bridge at the highest level!
